The most relevant part of my professional development comes from attending conferences which are explained below.     As educators of young children and their families we have an enormous responsibility to educate ourselves and colleagues about the ever changing ideas and values that are present in today's society as well as the past leanings in our field. In this week's blog assignment I focused on the mission and perspective of the World Forum Foundation. The World Forum Foundation mission is"promote an on-going global exchange of ideas on the delivery of quality services for young children in diverse setting, "(world forum.Org). The foundation have a set of core values that focus on children, change, relationships, differences and the spirit of worthiness. There are many different ways that they promote togetherness and the global well being of children and their families.    Having support is a very important element in my life. Support is the ability to physically hold something together as well as the ability of a person to help hold someone physically as well as mentally. There are so many things in my life that gives me support. My support comes from so many things in my life.    The first element of support is my spiritual support system. My belief in God has helped me through some hard phases of my life. I read the Bible and worship with my church family as well as pray to God for inner peace and guidance that helps me through the tough times in my life. Through my sense of true worship I know that no weapon formed against me shall prosper as well as I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.   Secondly I want to say that family support is very important to me.
