Final Blog Lessoms Learned from the International Standpoint Of Early Childhood Education
Looking back over the past eight weeks I must say there has been a lot of important information presented about Early Childhood Education from the International front. I have learned a great deal. The first consequence that I have earned about was the very different different teaching strategies from around the world. The most important years of learning are from birth to 5 years of age. It is so important that we work to bridge the gap with organizations such as UNICEF that are working for the good of all children around the world.
The second consequence that have enhanced my learning was the way that some countries determine who is educated based on their gender. In some countries female children are not offered the same opportunity of an education because of their sex. This should not be. Every child is important and deserve an education.
The third consequence that has broaden my educational position is the presence of situations of hunger, poverty and the absence of immunizations that we think are in under developed countries but they are present in the United States as well. No child should be hungry, without medical care and all families and children should be able to live above the poverty level and enjoy a prosperous life.
The goal that I want to work to complete is to become a better advocate for the young children and their families that cross my path. I want to make sure that I can provide them with services that can enhance their lives and the lives of their families.
The children are our future and we must provide them with a strong foundation that will help them become the future leaders and educators. They can be all they can be and become what they can be.
I want to be their voice when they can not speak for themselves.

Isn't it just fantastic that all around the world, the teachers have some of the same issues and trends! Becoming a better advocate is a great goal! Someone needs to be the constant voice that will stand up for all the children of the world. Thank you for sharing many insights over the past few weeks! I hope you continue your studies strong and with new light! Good luck and I hope to see you in future courses. <3
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that we have some of the same issues here in the United States that other countries such as poverty. For a developed country, we have a lot of children going without food. I too would like to become an advocate for young children. Someone needs to give them a voice. I think with all this new information it will provide a solid background for us to advocate for children. Good luck in your future classes.
